Wamberal SLSC GARDNER JUNIOR IRON PERSON

ENTRY
• All individual entries close at 3pm Wednesday 19th December 2018. The cost is $30 a competitor including GST to be paid at the time of entry. Online entries will receive a free T-shirt.
• Late entries will be taken on the day. Late entry fee $50 to be paid on the day. EFTPOS available. Late entries don’t receive a t-shirt.
• All team entries will be taken on the day and close at completion of Under 13’s individual event. Clubs may submit more than one team. $30.00 per team including GST. All clubs will be invoiced for team entries. Team members must have competed earlier in an individual event. No T-shirts included. 

RACE RULES
• Competitors must be at the competing age of Under 9 up to and including Under 15. 
• All competitors must be current financial and current proficient members of a SLSC of SLSA.
• Club caps and pink hi-vis competition rashie must be worn
• All competitors to be marked with an official race number/age group.
• No outside assistance or individual escorts allowed.
• Competitors not rounding all markers on the course will be disqualified.
• The course will be set according to surf conditions by the carnival referee and may be subject to change according to the conditions on the day by the Carnival referee. 

PROGRAM OF IRON PERSON EVENTS AND EVENT INFORMATION
The following order of events is subject to change on the day at discretion of sectional referee
7.30AM – 8.45AM 
All individual registrations and late entries will open at 7.30am and close at 8.45am 
9.15AM 
First race starts at 9.15am.

50m Run / 150m Swim / 50m Run/ 200m Board / 50m run
U9 Girls, U9 Boys, U10 Girls, U10 Boys 

50m Run / 200m Swim / 50m Run / 300m Board / 150m Run
U11 Boys, U11 Girls, U12 Boys, U12 Girls

50m Run /400m Swim / 100m Run / 600m Board / 150m Run
U13 Boys U13 Girls U14 Boys U14 Girls U15 Boys U15 Girls 

Board Relays
U9-U10, 
U11-U13, 
U14-U15

Three Board Relays - 3 competitors per team 

Team entries will be taken on the day & close at completion of Under 13’s. Clubs may submit more than one team.$30.00 per team including GST. All clubs will be invoiced for team entries. No T-shirts included. All team members must be from the same club and have competed in an individual event. Teams may consist of all boys, all girls or a combination of boys and girls. 
Teams must be made up within the following age groups: 
U9’s/ U10’s, 
U11’s/ U12’s and U13’s
U14’s/U15’s. 

EVENT PRIZES
Place getters from 1st to 3rd in each individual category and age divsions will receive a medal, with 1st place receiving a gift card.

LUCKY DRAW PRIZES – 4 GARDNER BOARDS TO BE WON AND LOTS MORE LUCKY DOOR PRIZES!
All individual competitors and teams who participated and are in attendance at the presentation will go into a draw for a Gardner Race Board. Individual competitors and teams must be present to claim the individual and team board prize in person. If the individual winner or team is not present at the time of drawing, then the draw will continue until the respective prize is claimed in person. 
There will be four draws for boards as below with the prize as listed:
U9 & 10 1x Fibreglass Gardner Nipper board. U11 & U12 1x Fibreglass Gardner Nipper board.
U13& U15 1x Fibreglass Gardner Racing Mal. ALL TEAMS 1x Fibreglass Gardner Racing Mal. 

ALL INDIVIDUALS WILL BE ENTERED IN THE GENERAL LUCKY DOOR PRIZES DRAWN FOLLOWING THE DRAW OF THE BOARDS.
